My Story

I created Fitzgerald Creative Services (FCS), Colorado’s premier woman-owned digital marketing agency, to help organizations tell their stories. With more than six years of experience in media, content marketing, public relations, digital marketing and web development, I will give your brand a voice that resonates with your audience. 

My passion for storytelling and creative writing can be traced back to my childhood. I was most at home at the local library, nestled among the shelves with my nose in a book.

After graduating high school, I dual majored in English/Creative Writing and Journalism at Miami University. I discovered my love for telling others’ stories through online media. My five-year career in newspaper journalism led me to New York state and then Port Huron, Michigan. I dug strong roots in the community by reporting for the Times Herald newspaper for three-and-a-half years. I also broadened my professional skillset with a certificate from Michigan State University’s Digital Marketing Bootcamp.

Looking to grow my career, I then joined Detroit Public Schools Community District. I continued to write stories about the district’s exceptional staff and students. I also learned new skills in web design and project management. My desire to return to my professional roots and for greater freedom led me to launch FCS in 2024.

In October 2025, I moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to be with my boyfriend. I continue to serve clients in Michigan while also expanding my client base to Colorado.
